Mind Mapping is
basically a thinking, writing and memory technique developed
by Tony Buzan in the 70s of last century. It is a
visual thinking technique that helps you to categorize
key words in main and subtopics in order to draw a
graphic overview with these key words, colors,
drawings, relationships and icons. This thinking technique
increases your creativity, learning and problem solving
ability and will improve your planning ability, helps
designing processes and facilitates to remember
important things. When applied correctly and
consistently you will be able to organize your
thoughts, make better use of your time, increase your ability to
prioritize, facilitates communication and getting
the whole picture, helps you to follow the progress of
projects, capture share and apply knowledge. Anyone from 8
years old can learn mind mapping. It can be used
in private and work life. For example, to plan your
vacation or a renovation, preparing a personal growth plan,
select a school for the kids, analyse and write plans,
meet with more fun and result, set up and manage
projects, facilitate collaboration, improve time utilization,
structure conversations and stimulates to build a
shared mental model.
